How far will we go to keep our earth "green"?

You know, I can't say that I am a recycler aside from returning my pop cans for the deposit money. However, with growing popularity of becoming a "greener" society, I decided to look into doing my part to help the environment... such as... carpooling to help with pollution, reusing my water bottles a few times before discarding them, and conserving energy by not leaving every light on in my house... but I discovered that people are going "green" in the bedroom. How do you go "green" in the bedroom???

Here are several good ways to go "green" in your bedroom:

1) Use Trojan Lambskin condoms, they are only condom that has been proven to be biodegradable ... but these condoms do not protect against STD's, so stick to latex condoms for STD protection.

2) Choose a "green" sex toy! Several sites are promoting that 100% silicone products and 100% elastomer products are "green" products. Here are several "green" products to choose from to help your sex life and save our planet :
Rabbit Habbit Elastomer
Helix Real Tip Glass Dildo
Meany Vibe

3) Purchase some "green" bedsheets. You can buy Bamboo sheets, they are just as soft if not softer than Egyptian cotton sheets and bamboo grows without the use of pesticides, making it organic as well.

Here is one to go "green" in the bedroom that I am a little unsure of myself:

While looking to go "green" in my bedroom I stumbled across a Google search about recycling our used sex toys... my first thought was "WHAT!?! That can't really be sanitary!" I checked out the website for "Rabbit Amnesty", which is only available to those in the UK right now, and it informed me that consumers can return their used and broken rabbit vibrator, and they will take it apart, melt it down, and reuse the materials to make a new rabbit vibrator! Now I know that since products are being melted down at such high temperatures the materials become sanitary again... but are we really that desperate to keep our earth "green" that we're going to reuse sex toy materials to build new sex toys??? I will never be that desperate that I would risk possible infections if the product was not recycled correctly. But to each their own I suppose...

How are you going "green" this year? Does anyone have any other tips on how to make their bedroom a "greener" environment?

This Month's Cosmopolitan Magazine... June 2008

So I picked up the new Cosmo this morning at CVS on my way into work, hoping to find a new trick I can use in the bedroom (although they are still being repeated for the 100th time and I'm not finding any new GREAT ideas) or maybe even find out something interesting about my body that I had no idea about (once again... I'm disappointed). Finding neither of things, I continued to aimlessly flip through the pages (back to front, because that's the only way to read a magazine lol) when I see the following article : The Sex Toy Hiding in Your Purse. Well the only sex toy I have hiding in my purse is the inconspicuous Lipstick Vibe for $24.95 (which I might add is pretty amazing and strong considering it's size)... so what did this article know that I didn't? Here are a few good ideas from the article that I know I will be putting to good use in the near future:

"Name That Curve" - Take pictures of different body parts with your camera phone and send them to your partner and make them guess what body part it is. *I thought this was incredibly sexy and erotic.. rating ♥♥♥♥*

Set the alarm on your phone to vibrate and use it while you're messing around with your partner. *Not a bad idea, but I think I'd just as much like to use my Silk Touch Vibrating Egg (see my review on this product-click here)... rating ♥♥♥*

Make up your own flirty acronyms to text to each other that no one else would be able to decode, like UMMH (You Make Me Hot) or URSS (You Are So Sexy). *This is a fun idea if you are a little shy, I'm more of a straight forward kind of girl so this would only entertain me for a little while...rating ♥♥♥*

Hope this satisfied your taste for a little something different to try.... Cosmo doesn't always succeed in capturing my interest, so kudos on the interesting article (although I would've enjoyed a little more variety of items other than the cell phone).
