Happy National Spouse's Day!!!

Valentine’s Day may be just around the corner, but today is just about appreciating your spouse. National Spouse’s Day is a fun holiday to show your partner in life that you love them and appreciate all they do for you… those amazing dinners she makes for you, the way she keeps your home clean, and what an amazing job she does raising your children…or how about how he has learned that holding you in his arms can sometimes make it all better, when he finds the energy to mow the lawn at the end of a hard day of work, or the way his eyes still light up when you walk into the room after all these years.

A great way to show your appreciation would be a romantic evening for just the two of you, ending in a sensual massage with edible massage products, and then….who knows? (I’ll leave that up to you). Kama Sutra and Shunga are two of the most well known products for sensual massage, and I happen to also think they are the very best! For those who ever never used products by these companies, all of their products taste amazing…there is no after-taste, and the oils don’t stain. There are a few basic products that I use when it comes to massages in the bedroom AND everyday use.

The Massage Oil
Oils by both companies contain Vitamin E, which is great for the skin. I use my favorite oil everyday when I get out of the shower to keep my skin soft and supple. You can place this oil in the microwave (with the cap off) for 10-15 seconds if you’d like a warm, deep tissue massage. Add a cap-full to a hot bath for a little aromatherapy and smooth skin. I’ve even used a little bit on facial tissue to remove stubborn makeup!

The Honey Dust
Both companies include a feather tickler with their Honey Dust for easy and sensual application. Dust this over your lover after you give them a massage to soak up any excess oil on the body, and create a delicious taste for kissing. I found you can also sprinkle some of the dust in the sheets to help them feel silky. Dust a little over perfume so when he goes to kiss your neck he finds a sweet surprise (my fiancé LOVES this trick).

The Massage Cream
So smooth, so delicious… This massage cream can be used daily for soft, supple skin, and if you put it in the fridge it works great on comforting sunburns, diminishing bags under the eyes, and a cool massage on a hot summers eve. (I realize it’s winter, I guess since I live in Michigan it’s a little wishful thinking.)

The Warming Oil
This oil heats up with friction and warm breath. I found it is a little too thick to use for an actual massage, so instead I use it for a little foreplay game. I like to call it Kiss and Go Seek. I have my fiancĂ© close his eyes and I put the warming oil on all of my sensitive areas, then I make him kiss me (the warm breath) and touch me all over to find where my “hot” spots are. It’s a little tease for both of us AND it can help your partner learn where your favorite non-obvious pleasure zones are!

The Desensitizing Gel
I like to call this my little helper… not only does it prolong my guy (rub it along the underside of his shaft to delay ejaculation), but it gets rid of my gag reflex, AND it can be used to numb the clitoral area if I’m just a little to sensitive after orgasm! Others I know have also used this for anal as well, they say it works much better than Anal Eaze. I also found that I can use for everyday things too: numbing a sore throat or an aching tooth, I rub a little on my eyebrows before plucking them so it doesn’t hurt as much, and I’ve even used it on my nieces’ gums when she was teething!

Here are a few product combinations I have tried, that taste delicious!

Grape Warming Oil + Chocolate Body Paint = Grape Tootsie Pop
Strawberry Warming Oil + Chocolate Body Paint = Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Original Warming Oil + Chocolate Body Paint = Black Licorice
Cherry Warming Oil + Chocolate Body Paint = Chocolate Covered Cherries
Vanilla Massage Lotion + Chocolate Body Paint = Chocolate Cake
Vanilla Warming Oil + Chocolate Body Paint = Chocolate Vanilla Latte
Raspberry Warming Oil + Raspberry Honey Dust = Swedish Fish Candy
Grape Warming Oil + Libido (Exotic Fruit) Massage Oil = Watermelon
Grape Warming Oil + Raspberry Honey Dust = Grape Kool-Aid
Vanilla Massage Lotion + Vanilla Warming Oil = Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Frosting
Libido (Exotic Fruit) Massage Oil + Raspberry Honey Dust = Sweet Tarts

So splurge a little bit before Valentine’s Day! I promise you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll have an incredibly delicious evening…by turning your partner into dessert.
