Coochy Cream - The Greatest Invention Ever!
I was talking to one of the girls that works at one of our retail stores about getting a close shave in the southern region. Working in the corporate office, I don't get to see much of the products hands on so I try to take a trip to the store weekly to find something new to try or experiment with. So...she suggested a couple of products and I decided to go with the green tea formulation of Coochy Shave Cream. Usually I go for the Brazilian wax but there are times when I can't get there or can't get an appointment. The Swedish chick that used to do mine moved to a different town so I'm pretty much out of luck when it comes to getting a convenient appointment. For those that don't know what a Brazilian wax is, it is when you get the front and back porch trimmed to the skin. Done correctly and by someone with experience it only hurts for a couple seconds.
Coochy Shave Cream is a great blend of natural and organic properties but the one thing that keeps your skin soft and free of bumps, pimples and ingrown hairs is the tea tree oil. It also acts to help soothe the skin after the shave. Aloe Vera also aids in keeping the skin smooth and break-out free. Guys, you have no idea how bad an ingrown hair is down there so if your chick tells you get some of this, track it down. There are several different aromatic blends to choose from and after I got the tea tree version I got some samples of the others but I have to admit, the tea tree was the best. Who wants a cooter that smells like a basket of fruit? As much as I hate to admit it, I like Coochy Shave Cream more than any other female shave gel that's for sure.
While this is marketed for your private parts it is something that you can use on any part of your body. If it is good enough for the vag then it's good enough for the rest. I've used this on my leg and pits and got a smooth close shave without any kind of break out or razor burn. Of course you have to use a good razor to start with. I go with a triple blade because I personally think the four and five blade razors are a rip off. You don't need a lot of this to get the job done but if you are dealing with a thick lawn you will need to rinse and reapply it. The smell of it is intoxicating. Kinda like when you put clean sheets on the bed, take a shower and feel like you are in a cocoon. The tea tree blend comes in two sizes, eight ounce and sixteen ounces with a pump. The sixteen ounce is perfect for the shower, no caps or lids to fumble with.
This doesn't do anything to prevent a quick regrowth but it does work wonders if you are someone that gets ingrown hairs from shaving to the skin. Not everyone likes a naked landing strip; if you just want to do some maintenance this helps to prep the area and give you a good lather but without obstructing the view. It is always a daring proposition to work on your own back yard, you can easily go the wrong way with the razor and cut against the grain / growth of the hair. I'd suggest having someone do it for you but not everyone is as open minded as myself in that respect. If you are going to do your own back yard maintenance its best to scope things out with a mirror first then plan your attack. Shaving with the mirror is a no-no because you are going to see things reversed and that is a disaster waiting to happen.
Coochy Shave Cream [tea tree version] costs $10.95 for the eight ounce bottle, and honestly it's worth the $11 because I love the fact that this doesn't make me itchy and so far I have been rash and bump free. Now that I have tried it and fallen in love with it I have no problem spending the $11.
If you shave your privates but aren't satisfied with your current shave cream or gel then Coochy Cream is definitely worth checking out. It is safe for all external parts of the body so if you want to use it for other areas you can. For a close, "to the flesh" shave, this is a must-have product. I prefer the tea tree version but the others that Lover's Lane sells work just as well if you don't mind the scent of them. If you are scent-sensitive you can opt for their fragrance free version.
